Any snack or meal taken out here is going to be memorable.
Antibes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France
This studio apartment for up to 4 is based in Old Town Antibes. From the balcony, you get views of the Port Vauban marina where many yachts moor up. You’re sure to want to take a walk there and get a closer look! It’ll only take a few minutes to get there.
Stay here, and you’ll also be close to all kinds of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as these (and other) attractions:
A Pablo Picasso museum here? Yes, the famous artist loved this part of the world so much, that it seemed fitting to set up a museum featuring some of his life’s work.
The beaches at Salis and Garoupe
You’re actually spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. But these are regarded as two of the very finest in the area.
What better way to spend time than browsing the stalls looking for fresh food to take back to the apartment and turn into delicious snacks and meals.
Why not get the flip-flops off and more sensible walking shoes on and explore the beautiful peninsula? Don’t forget your phone, as there’ll be some stunning scenery you’ll want to capture on your camera.
Marineland & Aquasplash
If you fancy a total change of pace and don’t mind getting wet (actually more likely soaked through) then these two theme parks could be what you’re looking for.
The very distinctive and very red Garde d’Antibes train station is just a short walk from the apartment. Catch regional and national railway services from here to reach villages and towns and cities including Cannes, St Tropez, and Monaco.
Buses provide another public transport option, with an impressive 31 different routes serving the local area. So, you should find one that will take you to where you want to go. Alternatively, you can always hire taxis and private cars.
And if you don’t have far to travel, the weather around here is usually good enough to make walking or cycling a real pleasure.
One final thing to note is that Antibes isn’t far at all from Nice International Airport. Just 16kms in fact, handy to know if that’s the airport you’re using.
